Daddy Do is made by Frankly Built LLC, a Florida company (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to information in the Daddy Do app. Short version: what you put in the app stays on your phone. We don’t collect it, and we can’t see it.
What you enter, and where it stays
To match styles to your kid, you can enter a first name (or a nickname), an optional age, son or daughter, hair type and hair length. The app also keeps the styles you’ve marked done, the days you did hair (for the streak), saved styles, the tools you’ve checked off, and your settings.
All of this is stored only on your phone, in the app’s own storage. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. We have no accounts, no sign-in and no servers that receive it. If you delete the app, or tap Settings > Erase all data on this phone, it’s gone. Your phone’s own backups (iCloud or Google) may include it, under Apple’s or Google’s policies.
Photos
On the share card you can add a photo from your phone’s photo library. The app uses the system photo picker, so it only sees the one photo you pick. The photo is used on your phone to make the card and is not uploaded anywhere. It only leaves your phone if you choose to share the card, and then it goes where you send it.
Purchases
Daddy Do Premium is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment, and we never see your payment details. The app asks the store what your account has bought so it can turn Premium on, and remembers the answer on your phone.
How-to videos
On phones, the app downloads a small public list of any how-to videos and streams those videos from our media server (media.franklybuilt.co). Like any web request, this involves your phone’s IP address and basic device and network information needed to deliver the file. Nothing about you or your kids is sent, and we do not keep this information to identify anyone.
Links you tap
Some screens link to outside websites, such as health information from medical organizations, our legal pages, and product pages in the Gear tab. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Some Gear links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy something; the store’s site may use cookies to track that referral under its own policy. The app itself does not track you.
What we don’t do
No ads. No analytics. No tracking across apps or websites. No selling or sharing of personal information. No advertising identifiers.
Children’s privacy
Daddy Do is made for parents and other adults, not for children, and it is not directed to children. A parent may enter their child’s first name, age and hair details to get matching styles, and that information stays on the parent’s phone. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.
Emailing us
If you email us, we’ll receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to answer you. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed to help you.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
