Dinner Table Daily is an app by Frankly Built LLC, a Florida company (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: everything you put in the app stays on your phone. We don’t collect it, we can’t see it, and we don’t sell anything about you.
What you put in the app, and where it stays
To make tonight’s card and keep your streak, the app stores these things only on your phone, inside the app’s private storage:
- The first names and ages of the people at your table
- The nights you’ve played: which questions came up, who got which trivia right, tonight’s award, and your streak
- Your settings (for example, the dinner bell time, sound effects and trivia difficulty) and whether The Full Menu is active
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and the app has no server of its own.
The dinner bell
The optional dinner reminder is a local notification. The app schedules it on your phone, and your phone shows it at the time you pick. It doesn’t go through any server, and we don’t use push notifications. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn the reminder on.
Purchases
The Full Menu is a subscription sold through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment and your payment details. We never see your name, email, or card. To know whether The Full Menu is active, the app asks the App Store or Google Play on your phone; that check is between your phone and the store. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies cover what they do with purchase information.
Sharing
When you tap Share on tonight’s card, the app makes an image on your phone (with first names, tonight’s winners and your streak) and opens your phone’s share sheet. It goes only where you send it. Links in the app (like this policy) open in your web browser.
Backups
If you have turned on your phone’s own backups (for example iCloud Backup or Google backup), your phone may include the app’s data in that backup. The backup lives in your account with Apple or Google, under their terms. We can’t see it.
What we don’t do
- No analytics, crash reporting, or usage tracking
- No advertising and no ad identifiers
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No selling or sharing of personal information
- No third-party tools in the app that collect data
- No access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location
Deleting your data
Go to Settings > Erase everything on this phone to remove your family, every night you’ve played and your streak. Deleting the app also deletes all of its data. Because we never had a copy, there’s nothing for us to delete on our side, and we can’t recover anything for you.
Children’s privacy
Dinner Table Daily is made for parents and other grown-ups to use with their families at the dinner table. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. A parent may enter a child’s first name and age; that information stays on the parent’s phone and is never sent to us.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes how it handles information, we will update this policy and the effective date above before the change ships. If a change means any data would leave your phone, we will say so plainly in the app first.
